Theater life and safety plans

My second major in school was Theater. So you can imagine how excited I became, when I was measuring the existing theater, with full access to backstage and all the nooks & crannies. Only if Muse or Red Hot Chili Peppers were there...
I had so much fun drafting this building and designing the Life/Safety plans, that I felt bad getting paid for doing this project.

Needless to say, I will always be proud of my role (no matter how small) in the renovation of this Berkeley Landmark.

Over the years I have seen Muse, RHCP,  Radiohead, Les Claypool, Travis, Green Day, and Googoosh (Persian singer) perform in this venue.

Once the renovation is complete, I will post some photos, so be sure to check back soon.

Electrical As Built

I am a thorough draftsman, please let me know if I can be of service to you.
Thanks for looking.

Fire Alarm Project in San Fransisco

Here are some plans I designed and drafted for a design/build seven story Fire Alarm project in San Fransisco.
The city has some of the toughest plan examiners & inspectors around the bay area. This is completely understandable since the big earthquake fires happened right here. The final inspection for this project took about 3 full days, and the inspector checked every point of interest, yet me and my teams work passed every curve ball with flying colors.

Attention Arsonists!
I changed the address on the plans.

Fixer Upper in Berkeley

This is the house that I just bought. As you can see it needs a lot of TLC. It will be very nice by the time I'm done with it.

Welcome.

Big lot with Junkers included!

I fell in love with this porch.

Graffiti!

Here are some photos of the interior:

Original Hardwood floors throughout, I refinished it already.
All the plumbing works now :)

Re-framing the bathroom.

New drains that actually drain :)
Nothing like the smell of soldered copper in the morning.

Check back soon for more photos of the progress.

In this project I got the most satisfaction from designing and partitioning all these spaces (two bedrooms, one living room, bathroom and kitchen) in such a small footprint(slightly over 600 square feet).

Feel free to leave comments and let me know if you have any building projects around the bay area and I can be of service to you.
